　　Why are so many people keen on body-building? Firstly, keeping health is one of their main purposes. In modern society, many people stay for most of the day before the desk without doing any exercises, which definitely harms their health. Body-building caters to the need of these people who come to realize the potential danger of their working pattern. Secondly, body-building is beneficial for people to keep their body shape. Many setting-up exercises like aerobics are very helpful in cutting up weight.

　　前一段時間，我參加了“希望之星”英語比賽，沒想到進入了復賽。復賽比初賽難多了，初賽只需要用英語進行自我介紹，再加上才藝表演就行了，而復賽呢，除了這兩項之外，還要看圖用英語說句子。比賽的圖片有20多張，比賽前兩分鐘進行抽簽、準備，然后就要上場了。

　　這一個禮拜，我一直在為比賽做準備，可是因為圖片太多了，時間又緊張，所以我只準備了其中的`10多幅圖片。

　　星期六下午，媽媽陪我去參加英語比賽。抽簽的時候，我看見我準備的圖片都被別的小朋友一張張抽走了，心里有點兒緊張。輪到我了，果然，我抽到了一幅沒有準備過圖片，我想：“這下可完了，真倒霉！可是，都已經(jīng)到了，也沒辦法了，只能再努力準備一下了�！鄙蠄龅臅r候，我不再緊張，我大方地做了自我介紹，并唱了一首英語歌，看圖說話開始了，大屏幕上出示了圖片，老師把話筒遞給我。我先介紹了圖片上的人物，在介紹他們在干什么，30秒中里面，我大概說了八、九個句子。

　　比賽結(jié)束了，媽媽表揚我發(fā)揮的很好。不知道會不會進紹興市的比賽，但是不管結(jié)果如何，這都是一次很好的經(jīng)歷。

　　Last weekend my parents and I went to the park for relax.We set out at 8:00 in the morning,and got there at 8:30.We saw a lot of people there.Some of them watched the monkeys,some played games,some had a rest under the trees.The trees were green,the flowers were colorful ,the birds were singing in the trees.We were really glad to see this.

　　We felt terribly hungry and tired after a long walk.We went to a restaurant for a rest and lunch.We had a rich meal.
