　　Celebrations are held at night with moon cakes playing a predominant role. These are small round tarts baked with different fruit fillings—date, pear,apple and pomegranate among others. People used to lay out a feast with good wine. When the moon was rising in a clear sky ,they would place the moon cakes and fresh fruit on a table as an offering.

　　Even today a family will sit around the table, enjoying the beautiful moon and eating moon cakes and fruit. Those who are away from home try to return for a family reunion, giving the occasion its other name—Family Reunion Festival.

　　Today, when I go home after school at noon, the moment I walk in the house, I smell the good scent. I know my mother is cooking the delicious food. Then I see my uncle and my aunt are sitting in the room talking with my father. I say hi to them and then rush to the kitchen. The food is such tempting, and my mouth is watering.

　　今天，我中午放學后回家時，一進家門就聞到了香味，我知道媽媽正在烹飪美味的食物。然后我看到我的'叔叔和阿姨坐在房間里跟我爸聊天。我跟他們打了個招呼就沖進廚房。食物非常的誘人，我流口水了。

　　Every class has rules, like No smoking, No eating and No sleeping. Our class is not very good, because some students are talking when someone is speaking.

　　In the class, we should observe others by rules. Now, I list some rules in class:

　　1. No talking when someone is speaking.

　　2. No sleeping in class.

　　3. No eating or drinking in class.

　　4. Be always on time.

　　5. No playing in class.

　　6. No laughing when someone makes a mistake.

　　These rules are just my opinion, but I think if our class has such rules, we can study better.

A most interesting tradition is the posting of riddles called 'Lantern Riddles.' Riddles are written on pieces of paper and posted on lanterns or wall. Any one solving the riddle is awarded a prize. and the food for lantern festival is Tang Yuan, i have made some Tang Yuan in a ginger soup, my wife got a serious cold, so i cooked a pot of ginger soup for her. i look forward to the next spring festival.
