阿聯(lián)酋總統(tǒng)扎耶德因病逝世后，其長子哈里發(fā)順理成章的繼任父親之位，成為阿聯(lián)酋新總統(tǒng)。外電報(bào)道如下：Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan's eldest son has succeeded him as president of the United Arab Emirates. Sheikh Khalifa was chosen by leading officials from the seven emirates shortly after his father's funeral.
